What MH gear are you wearing now?
Awesome new down jacket with the fur hood (I think it’s a fall ’10 sample) because it’s freaken cold in my house right now!

What is your favorite pre-outing "pump-up" music?
It varies a lot from under-ground hip-hop to indie rock anthems but right now it’s probably the album “So Divided” by … and you will know us by the trail of dead.

What are you listening to on your iPod right now?
TV on the Radio, Vampire Weekend, new Portishead Album “Third”. It’s time for new stuff though. Those are getting stale for me.

What’s your favorite meal?
Mexican Coma Log (mission burrito)

Best Halloween Costume?
I printed out a portrait or Chris Sharma, cut holes in the eyes and mouth and went as him this year. My friend Harry went as Dave Graham. It was probably my most inventive “costume” and definitely the creepiest at the party. We really underestimated the creepiness of it. I went as Spiderman once, but wasn’t very impressive since I didn’t stuff socks down the front of my pants to make my package look bigger like my friends who were super man and the hulk did…

Is there one thing you always take with you during your adventures?
Climbing shoes and chalk? Lots of water? I’m not really into the good luck charms.

How did you first get started with rock climbing? How old were you?
Discovered Mission Cliffs 4 blocks away from my house when I was 8. The rest is history.

Who/What is your inspiration?
John Stewart, Steven Colbert, Bill Mahr.
