What MH gear are you wearing now?
Lately, I’ve been living in my Panzee Hooded Fleece Jacket. The fleece is ridiculously soft, and feels amazing against the skin!
What is your favorite pre-outing “pump-up” music?
Good one. Probably, anything from Metallica to Kanye West to Bob Marley. Depends on the mood.
What’s your favorite meal in the outdoors?
A sandwich always tastes amazing in the backcountry. I typically drool over a roast beef, swiss, lettuce, onions, w/ mustard sando!
How did you first get started in with Big Mountain Skiing? How old were you?
Around the age of 4 yrs old I started skiing, mostly on family vacations at the time. Skiing became my love and all I wanted to do was play in the snow and mtns. I ski raced through jr. high and moved to Tahoe right after high school. From there I started competing in Big Mtn comps, taking 1st at the US National Freeskiing Championships and 3rd at the World Championships in Alaska.
These days I’m focused less on competition and more on shooting with photographers and filming. I have stared in the last 5 Warren Miller Films and have been published in all of the major ski magazines.
Who/What is your inspiration?
My family, friends and all those with a positive attitude inspire me.
